Scott, who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, has been line dancing since 1998.  What started off as something to fill time turned into a true passion.  After being “Hit” by the “Dance Bug”, Scott set out to learn any and all line dances he could find.  He entered numerous competitions in both IAGLCWDC and in the “Mainstream” dance world, winning top awards along with Over-All championships.

Scott’s teaching experience comes from being both a member and choreographer of Southern Line Atlanta since 2000.  He has written over 30 line dances to date, several of which have been used for IAGLCWDC competitions.  Some of his most popular dances are “Georgia Winder”, “Global Warming”, “Someday-Someway”, "More Than Life" and currently “Working It”, which was chosen this year as one of the Intermediate dances in IAGLCWDC competitions.   A complete list and select videos of his dances can be found at Scott’s Web Site.  

One of Scott’s most recent achievements has been to enter and win several Original Choreography Competitions.  This year Scott was invited to come back and teach at the Vegas Dance Explosion where he was a winner last year in two different categories.

Scott’s biggest joy is in teaching and seeing fellow dancers getting excited about a dance they just conquered.  If you ever find yourself in need of someone who cares and has a true passion for teaching, Scott is the person to call.

Scott's dance "SOUL VIOLINS" took First Place in the Non-Country Division in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Another dance, "JUST IMAGINE" took Second Place in the Phrased Country Division.
